The SmartShopper is an electronic (handheld or wall mounted) grocery list assistant. You simply press the recording button, speak your items into the device and confirm your statements on the LCD screen. Before shopping, simply press the print button and the built-in printer will hand you a detailed shopping list, categorized by vegetables, juices, meats, etc. You can specify numerous quantities of an item if needed.
The SmartShopper uses 4 AA batteries and includes three rolls of paper along with a mounting kit (it has a magnetic backside for connecting to refrigerators). The built-in printer does not require ink (it uses thermal printing). 2500 products are preprogrammed into the system's database so that it easily recognizes your requests. You can add items such as nutella and foie gras to the memory base by simply inputting their name through the keypad.
