Scan anything you want (text, graphics) from any document, magazine or book and transfer it to your computer whenever you want (via USB). The DocuPen scans in full-color or black and white and allows you to choose the degree of resolution (100 to 400 dpi). Hundreds of pages can be saved onto the memory and a full page's width is scanned in four seconds. The pen and its information transferring software are compatible with all computer systems. The DocuPen uses rechargeable lithium-ion batteries and is contained within a zippered sheep skin leather case (included). The batteries recharge when the Docupen is in the USB port.
The main differences between the RC800 and the R700 is that the R700 only copies in black and white and that its memory cannot be upgraded (via SD memory card).
Please note that an 8MB memory is built-in (saves approximately 150 textual pages), but that an SD memory card (not included) is needed if you wish to save numerous images. Ideal if seeking luxury business gifts.
