These are the policies that govern the shipping and satisfaction portion of the consumer's shopping experience.
Shipping and Delivery
Many prices include shipping costs (exceptions exist). There are no additional fees for any items and only Florida residents pay sales tax.
Many novelty products and / or furniture sets (this includes sofa sectionals, bedroom sets, outdoor furniture and beyond) are made to order and include an extended waiting period due to that reason. Other products must be imported from foreign manufacturers and also possess an unusual waiting period. Please note that import and / or duty fees may be the buyer's responsibilities. Also note Opulent Items cannot guarantee a product's exact arrival date nor can we guarantee an item's exact color match as certain shipping factors are not controllable and certain materials are subject to minor differences and / or minor changes. Furthermore, it is the customer's duty to review deliveries for damage upon delivery arrival as Opulent Items is not liable for missed and / or unreported damage. Finally, custom furniture, which includes bedroom sets, sofa sectionals and beyond, are made to order and cannot be cancelled after placing deposits.
There are instances when a manufacturer will directly ship a gift from their site. In these cases our name is sometimes absent from the package. However, your shop bill will always state 'Opulent Items' and we will be the ones to assist you with any customer care needs that may arise.
Satisfaction
Our refund and return policy varies per product (a maximum of 25% retocking fee may be assessed). This is because some novelty products are customized or are of intimate nature (ie. beds, footwear, etc). All refunds require that consumers first contact Opulent Items and receive a return authorization number. Returns may occasionally be shipped directly back to the manufacturer.
Certain products must be returned in new, resalable conditions. These products clearly state so in their description page. Opulent Items reserves the right to refuse return credit in instances where return conditions are not met. Consumers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the Opulent Items gift shop states otherwise.
